Hey, so for anyone who wasn’t up following us before this month, or hasn’t been on in a while, here are some of the more interesting things that have been posted in the last month that are totally worth checking out.
So this month was March Madness! It was a crazy month for The Plagued. It started with the artists at the Perma Dirty gallery second reception where Camille and Daniel did Zombie Portraits. Those portraits were posted one a day for a little while leading up to WonderCon so that everyone could see them.
Then there was all of the making of the merchandise for The Plagued that was sold at WonderCon. So the process of the Buttons, Tote Bags, Business Cards, Bookmarks, Postcards, basically every single thing we had there was previewed here first, and that was very exciting. Most everything was made by hand so check it out.
Then there was actual WonderCon. Which was CRAZY! The first printing of the comic nearly sold out, and we really had a great time with everyone from Forbidden Panel and meeting everyone that was at the convention. Just really great times.
After that we brought it back down a little bit. We got a little burnt out on zombies for a few days and wanted to do some really great images for prints that we could sell at events. We started by finishing the drawing of Swamp Thing, which turned out amazingly well. Pencils by Daniel Whitfield and Inks by Camille Alaras.
Then finally we tied down the month as a whole with a Zombie Portrait of our close friend Minh Vo last night while at his birthday celebration. That is pencils and inks by Camille Alaras, Color by Daniel Whitfield.
We just want to thank everyone who follows our site and would like to remind everyone to please subscribe so they can receive email notifications about our posts. And that two weeks from today is INLAND EMPIRE COMIC EXPO which is a local convention in REDLANDS CA at the FOX THEATRE that is hosted by our publisher Forbidden Panel. We will be there signing our second printing. Please come out, we will be happy to see you.
Thank you for a great month!
